Dr. Andrew Tran

Dr. Andrew H. Tran graduated from the University of Texas Health Science School of Dentistry Houston and has completed many advanced training and certification programs in cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, dental implants, 3D CBCT X-Rays Analysis, CEREC CAD/CAM technology, Invisalign, and straight wire orthodontic seminars. He loves all aspects of dentistry and enjoys taking care of patients and making their smiles beautiful. He designs, restores, and creates beautiful smiles with the highest dental cosmetic standards in accordance with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) smile design principles.

Dr. Tran is an active member of the AACD, American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and CEREC Doctors.

Prior to receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Tran has received a Bachelor of Science degree and also a Master of Science degree in the field of Computer Science, and worked in the computer industry for over 7 years. With his expertise, Dr. Tran makes sure that our office stays on top of the technological advances in dental healthcare so that we can always provide the best and most comfortable and time-saving treatments to our patients.

Combining his passion for dentistry and computer software background, Dr. Tran developed the "iTooth Junior" iPAD app that is packed with fun features and valuable education info teaching children about cavities and how to brush and floss. Accompanied with an illustrated graphic style, interactive games, and narrated animations, this app is designed to be easy for children to use and understand, while also being very entertaining. To enhance your dental experience with 5 Star Dentists, Dr. Tran has committed to giving every patient (adult and children) a complimentary copy of this app for your iPAD.

Dr. Tran's passion for music started when he was a young child. He loves to play the drums. He made music a part of the 5 Star Dentists office design and invites all patients to join him for a "Happy Smiles Hour" to relax and enjoy live jazz music as well as playing live band music with him.

Dr. Tran is married to Dr. Minhly Nguyen more than 10 years and has five wonderful children. Dr. Tran’s family-oriented personality and his genuine, gentle approach will make your visit to our office a pleasant experience for the whole family.
